Brenden Dunn (7738km): Paradise Beach, NSW, AU Manta 61 - Phantom 5.3 - MXR weed. Another great session at Paradise today with Rick, Matt, Ian and TP. Ran with an old wave sail that Ian Hillar gave me a few years back and right from my 1st run it felt great. A few runs later, locked it in on a big gust from the North and stoked to see a new set of PB's.

Dezza (33973km): Primbee, NSW, AU JP 90l, OD 6.2, 18 weedie, then 21 Rigged the 6.2 and headed out through the maze of kiters parked across launch ramp and kites and strings nicely laid out across the freshly mown lawn, once through all those obstacles, hit the water for some fun times. It was off and on at first then kicked in properly, hung on to the 6.2 until I couldnt anymore
what a great long weekend
Troll (2787km): Paradise Beach, NSW, AUac1 5.0 sleed board 21 vector wsp.Seriously windy at times this arvo, big gusts and water was not as smooth as the other day.Felt like i was going faster but not so.No damage done, and happy to get away with it.Well done brenden and matt good to see TP out he put in just as gust of the day arrived, white caps breaking on outer bank must have been close to 40.Not as easy today hard work
Tony Polony (15626km): Paradise Beach, NSW, AU Patrik 100 / R5 OD 5.6 / BP Weed 23 Too much wind, too much sail, too much chop, too much volume, not enough fin and not enough guts to last much longer than I did. A big crash and some insane gusts put me into "preservation mode" and I called it a day. Kudos to Matt C who owned Paradise Beach today. Mate, you have some big stones indeed. Awesome effort for both Dezza and Brenden (what sort of device are you using again?) on your PBs. Home in time to mow the lawns, wash out my gear and cook dinner! Not a bad way to end a long weekend. :-) |
