Sanctuary Point, NSW, AU

Well, it's been fun but my long distance relationship with the Tassie Speed Seakers is over.

I'm now based on the NSW South Coast, if anyone's passing through send me a message and if i'm around we'll hit the water.

I'll be back for a sail from time to time at Goon but this will be my last post with Y'all.

Peace Out.

Pitt Water, TAS, AU  Isonic 87, reflex 5.6, delta 25 speed.

Tough day today with heaps of good and bad moments, wind was all over the place but have to make the most of it. Big well done to dad who got 40.8 on the dial wow 5 knots quicker than me Cry. The gear is fantastic and looking foward to summer. :)

Pitt Water, TAS, AU. Isonic 87, Volt 2 32cm and Reflex 6 5.6.

Yabba Dabba Do Day.

At last finally did it with a speed of over 40 and fastest ever down south of Tas. I have gone quicker but on a speed course. Super happy with that one. Had the worst sail ever there this morning but stuck it out and the wind finally swung. Sailing with Dave and Ferg all day. Russ and Kazza had a short sail too with a few others out as well. Hard day in some pretty challenging and choppy conditions. Well done and good speeds Dave and Ferg....

Stieglitz, TAS, AU Great sail with Ben and Rod. Only the second time ive sailed georges bay and today we had plenty of wind. Did a bit of exploring and found some great runs but most of it choppy. IS 86, LB 5.6. BPWS31

Pipe Clay Lagoon, TAS, AU  Late sail again today, checked out the pond, was OK but a bit choppy. After 6pm a big front came through, but didn't feel game to take advantage of the 35+ knot gusts and do big bare-aways in the chop when it is late in the day and sailing alone though. iSonic 90, North Ram 5.7, MXR 24.

Pitt Water, TAS, AU iSoninc 86, OverDrive 5.6, Venom 32cm

Not the best sail for the first few hours with a very gusty wind, but came in strong in the afternoon.  Best speed was at the causeway.  Very windy, not very broad, as you could sail back up to the start, and very choppy as you beared away from the causeway.  Some good runs, but couldn't commit to bearing away in some of the stronger gusts into that chop!!  Well done Steve for doing well over 40 - awesome effort, saw both your fasters runs and it was insane, your board was out of the water going over the chop and you could see the fin!  Great effort from Ferg in those conditions as well, really pushing the limits and with a 5.6!!

Pitt Water, TAS, AU

5.2 OD R7   80 iSonic   28 Venom

This sail will go into the crap sail file I think. Was honking when I was rigging up, went out had a few good runs then it fizzled to nothing for about half an hr, then it picked up again in patches. Being my first sail in 2 mths decided that was enough. Derigged and of cause it came honking back in. Wrong timing today. Anyway great to have a sail with Dave, Steve & Fergus and Rusty.Smile

Stanley, TAS, AU  Forecast for West Inlet was pretty good, and we were ready for it. We had a continually evolving display of spectacular storm clouds that looked like they were going somewhere to cause destruction, but no wind for us. Occasional puffs of  nearing 15, and they were 90 degrees from the wrong direction. I got to noodle about on Cookie's big gear as we waited.   137/8.6

Well done Steve, that's a fantastic effort in hard conditions and will be very difficult to beat.  That chop was a killer and I found it very hard to commit to the bear-offs in those conditions!!  Power out hear so can't post at the moment, just using mobile as a hotspot for laptop!!

Great effort from Fergus in those connditions - pushing it right to the limit!
