South Fremantle

A cruise out to Fish Rocks in a steady 18 knot breeze to check out the anemometer.

Looks like it's 8m up on top of the cardinal marker - explains why the wind readings always seem optimistic. I think it's a Gill Ultrasonic or similar - no spinning cups.

The water out there is a turquoise paradise, choppy for speed but epic freeride.

Beautiful day againLaughing So nice i thought i'd keep going and make a nice pattern on the map.

Thought i'd let the fat bottomed girl have a rest today (nice one elmo) so her slimmer cousin got a workout.

Woodmans Point, WA, AU

Thought Id try out Woodies for the first time in a long time. pretty decent 18-21 knots. Some flat water on the north side of the point for some speed runs but the wind is a bit on and off on that side of the point. I was the only windsurfer out there amongst many kiters. The south side of the point would be good for some bump and jump.

6.6 Koncept, 97 Isonic, 31 tribal WS.

Rocket 125, 6.6 Koncept, 36 weedy

After using the 2 cam Turbo the 3 cam Koncept seemed harder to gybe. I did a couple of 'just planing' gybes and the sail during one did not rotate until just as I was planing out. Must try to get more gybing practice on no cam sails.

Pleasant, if cool, afternonn with pretty low tide.

I got a look at a prototype 2017 Severne Overdrive 7.8: very big luff pocket, looked super powerful

Yes nice work with the crayons Lunny, whereas you Master JJ  need to stay behind after class and put a little more effort into your work, rather than skiving off early to go sailing!Foot in mouth
