30 to 40kts all morning, hid in bed, sucking on my thumb, an rocking back and forth in the foetal position, about 2 ish was looking more like 20 to 25kts, so bravely went and faced the conditions, first runs were in the low 30's and felt way beyond me, but gradually adjusted to the pace and got a bit faster.

Turned up at Creery car park to discover that Lunny had picked the lock to fangland. looked out to the chook pond and he was just on his way back. He had a bit of trouble on the way back wrestling with a bull shark, no prizes guesing who came worse off. his only injury was a small gash on the knee that was soon fixed up. He then showed me his watch, WOW no wonder the shark didnt stand a chance, super human effort Craig.

Once the liquid metal on the knee had healed over he headed back out closely followed by me and Gav. I was determined to get out of the 36kn mark as its been a bit of a monkey on my back since I joined. By this time the wind had eased a bit and no matter how I tried I couldnt get anything better than my pb. So I employed a bit of patience and waited for the better gusts to come through. It worked first time and I got a flyer, well, by my standards. Shortly after, the re generation of body parts had taken its toll and Lunny went in but I was then Joined by Hardie. Good to sail with you Joe and thanks for the encouragement. After a while the gusts were geting fewer and further between when Oaf and Stroppo showed up but I didnt hang around  as I wasnt up for another walk.

Definatley been a good week for me. Sooo Happy with all my results.

You win some, you lose some. And any day where I get to have a sail is a winner by my books.  Thanks again to my awesome wife Ru who aranged that I could escape work early get on the water. By all acounts I must have missed the best but had a fantastic time and enjoyed some fun turns and a few little squirts of speed.  Nice to see Hardy and Swindy out reprazenting for da team. Don't think my numbers will help today.  Also saw Lunny packing up with a huge grin on his face. Sailed till sunset with Stroppo and Gav.
