Poor day for a sail, but weather was nice and sunny. Just enough wind to occasionally get on the plane. Better than staying at home..... Looks like wind up more since I got home!!

2d and last day of the "Grand prix chateau royal" here in New Caledonia

Wind was stronger than yesterday and organisation decided to have 2 long distances.

1st wind between 14-16 kts

2ed wind between 15-18 kts.

I did everything with my 107 and 7.8 and 38.

I did ok with a 7th and 8th place.

The gear was a bit small on the first race but my bigger would have been too big with the swell. Lucky I had 2 good starts (Rabit start).I started last but upwind of everyone else and almost touched the speedy start boat on both occassion. I prefered to start last but upwind to be "alone" as I couldnt take risk with the small gear.

No need to say Antoine Albeau won all races at this event.

Quick blast after work in solid SEer at Wello. I got a few good runs in before the wind eased 5 kts and swung to the South.

Gusty sail for a big fella, cut it short as couldn't be bothered grabbing a bigger board & dropping downhaul a bit plus off to work.

But first sail of Isonic 107, lot's of potential.
