Up the river from our normal sandbar (Muddy Creek) For a once in a blue moon sessionSurprised So hard to get this part of the river to work with tide, wind direction. But let it rip first run and had 40.00 dead on the dialSurprised I was as pumped, as if it was a PB. After 9-10months since last session. I was shocked the GPS battery had not gone flat. But it finally did after 15min. Felt like i went quicker too after it did, as water state flattened out. Oh well nice to get back on the board.

Quick sail out off Droughty Point Rd with Steve.  Very patchy with wind squalls in amongst the rain squalls!

Droughty Pt rd, TAS, AU. Fanatic Falcon 89/114, Z31cm/Z37cm, North Warp 6.2.

Not a bad sail with Dave. The wind never filled in, it looked like it was going to. Suprised with the alphaCool Nice to be back on the 89 after spending the last month on the 114.

A lot of stop start and up and down till the wind finally arrived. Turned into a fun session although I had to wear a beenie because I got a bit cold at times in 13 degrees.

South Arm Neck Beach, TAS, AU  Great little sail in a good wind, a little underdone on the 5.7, but with a 500m walk from the car to the water I had to take a bit of a guess at conditions. Should be excellent conditions there tomorrow.   IS 90, North Ram 5.7, VDWS 27

Cheers Dave! Hanging out for some proper westerlies or easterlies. To get back out into it. Few and far between, that’s for sure!

Actually, just measured the walk on Google earth and it was 820m to get out to sailable water! Tide was "up" on the way back, just 460m. The NM was a bit slow at the start and end, just not enough water and wind at the ends (I was sailing in the shallows).
