NSW GPS racing round 3 - that was a ripper day, NE wind came in as forecast throughout the afternoon, there were 3x30min gps races and I changed down sail and board each race. First time to Lake Macquarie, I had no idea what a beautiful place it is, clear blue water. Lots of boats out enjoying the lake and I had to slow down a couple of times in the races to let boats pass. The water was pretty bumpy, no big speeds and gybes a bit shaky, but had a blast. Would like to come back and try the sand islands flat water area again some time. Great to catch up with the crew who I met in rounds 1 and 2, this format of windsurfing is good fun and getting to sail in places I havent been to before. Thanks a lot to the Marmong club for organising it for us.

Had a great quick sale at collingwoodbeach today after feeling a bit off after the collision of yesterday. Only my second time out on the bay and it was just great albeit a bit underowered on a 5.2. I think im in the market for a bigger Revolution for this sailing spot beause even tho the wind was suppoed to be 25 at Pt Perp, it didnt feel like that on the water.  Anyhoo, great fun on  the SB Kode 86 with a Drake fin and Sailworks Revo 5.2..... Big day at the boat ramp today with many visitors enjoying themselves with the locals. Great day for windsurfing in the Shoalhaven. Very choppy out in the deep that kept me in the relatively manageable shallow waters.

Yet again the chop chop gets me the 2 sec!
