Yeah well how good was that, shame the sail fitness was down a bit due the recent lack of a blow but what a top day and turnout tops to catch up with everyone! Reckon that was a Wello peak PB as well so happy days.

Glynn should leave more often. It always blows when he heads off on a holiday. Great first sail of the year, A honking NEer at Wello. Low tide at the start and gaining through the afternoon. The bank slowly smoothed as the afternoon progressed. The wind was a solid 20 to 25kt. Today was a Wello pb for 2 sec, 5 x 10 and 500m. A really good turnout from both the Mob and Crazies for the Bayside 500m GPS comp. A cool beer with my team mates was the icing on the cake.

Top day! Slightly disappointed that I got out earlier and was too stuffed to make use of the sweet bank, but then it was such a magic day… Epic NE at Wello put it on today and showed there aren’t too many places in the world that can give such an awesome speed bank without mankind’s help…
Great to have so many ppl out, obviously was a GPS event but still Wello was the place to be… shame my best 500m was before comp gates open….
