Quick sail once the wind filled in a little and before we ran out of water. VP was so crowded, difficult to get a carpark, jetski's, boats, etc etc. Glad school hols nearly finished!!

117L, 6.5 sail and 35 BP fin. Good crew out.

First time on the new aircraft carrier, takes a little to get use to a load wider and floater board but was getting pretty comfy towwards the end, the ole 8.6 R4 seemed like a bag today and was a constant fight.  Otherwise nice wind, awesome day and pretty good turn out for everyone to bash about the chop, super done now!

JP Allride 106L, Select Edge 35cm fin, Neilpryde Hellcat 7.2m. Pumped from my first windsurf in 12 months I've backed it up with another in less that a week. Used all new freeride gear so was more of a learning experience than anything as never been on anything except slalom before. The Hellcat seems ok although still not like my NP EVO's and the board just doesn't have the same top-end although much more forgiving in the rough stuff. Seemed like it just doesn't release from the water? Dunno. Gets up and going but that's it. Doesn't seem to go to the next level but easier to cruise around on. When the tide dropped and the water smoothed a bit I was really missing hitting the next level like you do on slalom gear. Anyway maybe some more tuning and experience on the combo will yeild what I'm looking for. Would be great in the open ocean I think.

5 out of 6 days of wind so far this place is aways windy.

Good sail followed by a night up Budgewoi pub with Andy, Jill and Kerrie showing up from their big trip down south joined by a few smugglers as well.
