Wind never delivered, looked promising, but dropped out soon after I went out gt my 3 fastest runs on my frst 3 runs at Point Grey, then slower after that. Legs went to jelly after about 15 to 20 mins, couldn't work out why?Embarassed Broke my downhaul rope while sailing, first time thats ever happened?Yell Mistral Speed 95/55 TR16 6.3m Pepeweed 22/48

Fun times out there today! Glad to finally get a round of scores on the board, modest start - but still heaps of summer winds left in the season :)

Willyweather was only showing 13 odd knots for Pt Grey, so I was really pleased with this session, unlike those watching windguru that predicted high 20s.

I went with the 48cm board 5.8 koncept and 20cm 40-60deg weedy.

Nice comfortable sail, but not really powered up a lot of the time.

More later must eat.

JP SS 100L, NP RSR E7 7.0m, JP Weed 31cm.

Nice little session just going back and foorth accross the channel working on gybes and trying to get an hour going which I managed (just).

Realistically a bit under boarded as there were a few holes out there tonight but on the whole still happy with the gear selection.

Bit of excitement in the middle of the session, either Hardz had clipped a stin ray heading in towards the pond or there was a bit of feeding action going on as when I gybed I could see a large disturbance in the water, as I got closer there was something doing a 10-15ft circle strring up the mud and water surface which went on as I sailed past and into the channel, didn't spot any dolphin venting, may have been an upset ray or something a bit bitier.

Fun way to cap of the day wuith a good crew out.

Augusta, WA, AU. FF113/FW7.0/TWS33  GAF++ conditions, the high sand bar made conditions difficult, but still it was good to get a sail in with Lachy and Dave & Steve from One More Knot. What I learnt today is that it's harder to splash people with my Falcon than the Carbon Art. I tried to spray all of the above but barely got their ankles wet. Must practice more Wink.  Days are numbered for this spot, the old river mouth is now blocked off, so the "lagoon" will fill in. No great loss to be honest.

Congrats on the PBs Basil and Greg. Nice work 👍

Greg, those numbers are going to shoot up in the comming weeks, nice that you'll have a record of your progress.

Bas, we'll have to get you on a smaller board, when the wind's up, that's very good speed on a floater.

Great to see your enjoying it Greggo & well done on all the PB's Laughing

Basil despite the handicap of your boardcaddy lounging around across the sea you still managed to knock out a couple of very impressive PB's. All your 2sec & 5x10 Top 5's are now all in the last month, congrats that's pretty awesome! Cool

Good to see that quite a few of the Mob got out even if the wind wasn't quite there.
