New bunch arrived today from Ilawarra and Geoff, John and Tony got their first sail today so there were smiles all around from everyone.

I went down into the big lake with Mark J and had some runs behind the spit and behind the Island which was good fun.

Mistral 137 & 112, KARace7.9, Tribal 35 and BP 31

First session on the lake in 2018. Made the 2000km trip worthwhile. A mellow session on the big gear to start the campaign. The wind built slowy from 1.30pm. The 7.9 was too big in the  end, but the best speed was on the party barge. I probably would have gone faster with the 7.1 on zthe 112, but I was having too much fun. A couple of beers while deriggng finished of a great session.

Awesome little late arvo sail with Jemo & Pete. Could always have more wind but it was a consistant 15kt ESE. First time with the R5, bit more tuning this sail will rock.
