Stood around for 4 hours in the cold. Forecast was 30-35 all day. Around lunch time got the big board out and went for a cruise. Twenty minutes later had to come back in for the speed board. Which was probably a mistake as it never really got strong or consistent.
Fin Report: The wind today was slightly better than the session last week but still fairly poor. Probably 10-20 with the odd 25 kt 5 second gust. I am starting to think that in super thick weed this fin is slightly harder to get going than other delta type fins. Today the fin failed to produce any thing like enough lift, even with the mast track fully back and the boom high I could never get the board to fly. On the plus side conditions were fairly choppy and it never let go once up or down wind even when I tried to force it out on an up wind run. So whilst the fin was holding me back a little today, on a genuine speed day this fin could be the business as with more wind will come more lift
