Cruisy sail with the 5.5 KAR and Manta 59, not as strong as yesterday but still fun

Trip to Coods with some fine characters.
Sure was a bit intimidating with acres of weed so in fear of damaging something, i opted for the old faihful board.
Avoided using the Delta and thankfully there were some very generous offers from the MMob.
Got Mikes custom 20 to fit and it was a real delight to use, Top job and Thanks Mike.
Not as windy as yesterday but a great sesh in the smooth

Didn't get out until 4pm, but that was a blessing in disguise as wind seemed to pick up afterwards.
Discovered that using a 16cm fin at Coodanup just lulls you into a false sense of security until you find yourself in ankle deep water with a long walk out.

Another great day on the river. Once again someody had pulled teh drain plug on the swan so teh usual prime spots weren't accessable until the wind had died off. Had a great ride tucked into the stern wave of the rotto ferry, got me through the holes coming back from wally world. Pretty happy to score a 24 Alpha, PB for the river, although the poor old fin copped another hiding. Good to see Ricey and Chris and Slowboat was making good use of his 14cm delta belting through the shallows were nobody else could sail.

2184 days ago Watermans Beach 4.2 ezzy SE - much more relaxing than the same sail yesterday. Nice water slides. Left the watch turned on in the car yesterday so no posting. was probably pretty similar to this anyway. Boom had tiny 22 lines, so weird. Got caught by the old - should fix that before I need the 4.2 - thought that Wed, needed it Thu and Fri. should have learnt by now.
