Majestic Point, WA, AU

Started on the foil but didnt feel right today, too rough and too windy. Switched to the big slalom gear and went for tour up the river. I decided to call it a day before something nasty happened, there was a lot of mad stink boat driver coming back from Rotto this arvo they were certainly once a year boat owners who had one thing on their mind and it certainly wasnt looking for others on the river.

Coodanup, F2 SX 69, 7.0 Koncept, 20cm Lockwood Delta

Not particularly windy, but always enjoyable at Fangyland. Almost totally clear of weed now, and plenty of water with the high tide.

Drops 8'10" KAR 7.1 Lockwood Delta 14 (Test) 25 WS

Nice warm day lots out in gusty conditions, tryed the 14cm Delta Lockwood, nice fin considering was pushing it intochop and upwind when it did let go came back straight away, felt really loose when I first went out so was a bit tentativem came back and reset the mast track further back fixed the issue and you could then drive off the fin quite well, gybes not a issue, Slowy done well for such a small fin this will do the trick for fangys next year when the weed comes back and places like albany.

Good to catch up with ricey didn't see too many Pinnas must have all gone down to give fangy some grief.

What a great arvo it was with plenty of familiar faces enjoying the sunshine.

Was a good opportunity to try the old 112 Mistral after some more surgery on the deck. Did the hour on that and after 50ks changed over to the

Windtech SB 64.

The Windtech certainly is more comfy in the rough and missed out on the 2sec by 0.6 of a knot but gained it back with the best alpha.

Sure is great to be able to dial back the tail for a comfier ride in the chop.

 Coodanup iS111, 6.2K 24FF

A lovely cruisy sail with half a dozen windsurfers out and a few kiters.

My gybing is improving still - I did not drop one gybe or tack today - that might be a PB!

My minimum speeds in the gybes are improving too - almost double figures in quite a few - and I thought I would have scored a PB today but the fast ones were all too wide by quite a bit.

It looks like that 20 knot alpha is still a way off.

Fun little fang around at Peli in the late arvo.

M137 + 7.6 TR9 + 38 CL SL2.

The big board was the right call in the gusty conditions.

Had some fun cranking alphas off the point.  Nice conditions overall, it was solid all the way to dusk. Cool

Jerry rigged a way to start the hiace then realised the steering lock was still on so I stuffed around for some time longer pulling the dash apart again and trying to caress the broken mechanism into it's hole. Wind booted in much better than I expected so I spent most of the session wrestling the rig. After a while I switched to a weed fin to stop the board lifting then I headed to Wally world where Neil was enjoying some serenity. Definitely easier to handle chop and bear away with the weed fin but I find it hard to really dial in the 7.8 reflexII. Feels like there is too much pull from higher up in the sail, might just be the wrong mast. Still a great day on the water in great conditions late in the day.

Very enjoyable day in the flat water over the sandbar

125Rocket, 7.5 Turbo, 33 sw

Everything felt balanced today and I managed several planing gybes including one really fast but very wide, so probably not an alpha.

27.77 knots is a PB for that board so, all in all, a top day.

Good to see Boz knocking out the distance, and also Ben just setting out as I was finishing.

Windtech 64 SB with 33cm CL Speedweed fin. Very patchy SWester. Should have been down at Cott or Leighton.

Last time I get talked into river sailing with Big Neil!!

Dutchies - 18-20 SSW - nice swell but lots of ribbon weed, luckily some of it clears when gybing.

Riding the bumps is another step-up in fun.
