Exocet RS4, TR8 7.6, Vmax 43 - Wind SSE 12-16 knots

Light wind first day at Green Island 2019.  Underpowered most of the day as a result of leaving my 8.4 in the trailer at home Foot in mouth but forecast is for plenty more wind so should get better.   Great to catch up with lots of friends from years past and also meet a few new ones.

Well done Muz, today was your day to shine with your big gear and you nailed it.   3rd place in slalom and an Hr PB!

3rd day  sailing on the island, 1st day of regatta.

2 heats of slalom, 4th in the first so into the silver final, got a great start, doing good gybes and finished 2nd but was scrubbed for a minor technicality called OCS, sounds like a disease.

Then 1 hr gps, very hard. wind stronger water rougher.

Slalom was magic, smoother than Peelie on a roughish day. 7.7, CASL70
