Bit iffy for about a hour then it filled in nice.

Out with Jay and Chris L then a bunch of other mates o and good seeing JR sailing.

Got down after lunch. There was no movement of the tress during the trip to the bay until I got to Birkdale, where the palm trees on the roundabout were swaying. The evidence of wind increased as I drove out the penicular to the point. I arrived at the jetty side to see Jay and Glynn nicely powered up on their 7.9s. The tide had turn by the time I rigged, so I had missed the best water. The wind slowly built to a solid 17 to 20kts. Jay, Rob and Glynn stayed with me for a while but headed in as the run got choppier. Kev and Jareau joined as the tide came in sufficiently to head up toward the mangroves. This is the first time I've used the Warp 7.7 with the Mistral 112. It is a really good combo. Another top ten MBM afternoon.

Started off a bit light and the big sail seemed like hard work, soon filled in!! Gear when powered up lightened up and inspired some long runs out into the Bay, great sail with the team

Bump n jump gear. Nice sail in rough water.

Missed the flatter water still fun to be out with a good crew.
