Was 20-30knots SW in Nelson Haven - High tide. 

I went up the Haven looking for flatter water, but found the wind was too gusty (not planning at times) and would have been better staying in Atawhai where I launched.  Struggled to get back down wind but got there in the end and enjoyed a few runs with Dan before the tide was all gone. I got a long leave pass so was hoping for a distance PB today, looks like I should get one :-) 

Broke another batten high up in the sail? not sure how I'm doing that.

Just so you know: I was there, too: Atawhai, Nelson, NZ (P.S.: I just broke my lip, and I know exactly how I did it. Have it on video, too, hahaha!)

Looked windy but didn't have much punch to it. Quick sail until the breeze dropped out completely.

Atawhai, Nelson, NZ.  JP 120L , Severne Mojo 4.7, Tlab 40.  SW wind.  Didn't expect the wind and what a wild ride.  Choppy, gusty conditions, had to borrow Dans sail as had nothing small on board.  Great sailing with the Nelson crew.  Had a break then short blast on the front beach.  Only just get dialed in, flat water so start gaining speed,  then its time to turn around.

Atawhai, Nelson, Did a mission up north. Got lucky with a good southwester. Managed to sail three different locations in the one day. Atawhai. Front beach and back beach. Very tidal locations. Also managed to meet most of the Nelson guys and gals as the wind drew them all in. Good powered up sailing...lots of fun...thanks to all that let us know where it was all happening.
