Mallacoota, VIC, AU A quick blast in between spot fires!!. Our little town has been ravaged by fires and is now basically a military base. No power, no fuel for generators but heaps of beer delivered by the Army. PRIORITIES for some but not for the majority. Good to hit the water and wash the ash off and when things get a bit normal it would be great to get some crew  here for a sail out at Goodwin Sands or Gabo Island, (Heaps of beer here). The fire trucks have sucked that much water out of the lake the water levels have dropped and GWS is the best its looked. Its a 40+ knt strip ATM and only one person has done it out there, havnt they Daffy.

Good to meet another local Daryl, who is getting back into windsurfing.

Quick blast before guests arrived at Hotel Hocken

Lots of people standing around debating the wind.  I just got out, stepped on the board and planned off onto the sandbank.  Ball bearing like conditions.  A few joined as they saw the crash test dummy having fun

pt Henry south west a bit up and down but really smooth on the mid tide.

gusts just didnt hang in there quite long enough to get some good speeds on the bearaways, but super flat over the weed beds and a good fun session

isonic 90 reflex7 7.0 vector weedy 25. not quite powered up enough between gusts.

Well done to the other team members, always good to see whats happening in other locations with other fellow windsurfing team members.
