The set up was comfortable but the ribs protested right from the start , and continued to hurt, so after a few runs I decided it was wiser to stop.

Those few runs have set me back quite a bit. I am in more pain than I have been for a few days. I suspect a cracked rib from last week's catapult rather than just a bruise.

I guess I might be off the water for a while.

It was good to catch up with Tailwind and Ricey, and Jonah, who I have not seen in ages, and to meet our new team member Gloria, who wasted no time in signing up after Ricey and I chatted to her ths afternoon.

More Bump and Jump than smooth sailing, no flat spots today felt like several washing machines out at dutchies. Started really late just after 5:30 was contemplating Leighton probably would have been a better choice, still a good workout, more air time than water time todaySmile

Mounts Bay Road Sailing Club, WA, AU

Sunday races at MBSC. Thanks Steve for getting the windfoil class in. 5 windfoilers, Snides, Stroppo, Matt H, Luke and me. Lots of sail boat traffic in the bay and the odd ferry and speed boats. My first upwind/downwind short course race. I really didnt know what to expect so played it safe with the small sail which turned out to be just right in the last race.

2 foil races on a weekend. I can really see the potential for regular foil racing locally.

6.2 Overdrive, 150 JP, GTR small stab.

Pinnaroo Point, WA, AU - Ezzy Zeta 5.8, Foil gear. Good day but probably should have been on a 5m. 5th time used the zeta, first on the foil. Loving the sail. Geting much better at crashing now, some good over the nose ones today.

Had a pretty good sesh at Peli.

Well powered on the big kit...M137 + 8.4 TR8 + 44 Vector Volt.

It booted in after 4 and the 8.4 was  a handful at times, but I didn't have time to change down.

I drowned my GPS Cry

Which is a shame, as I think it is my last remaining GT-31.  Anyone got a spare they want to sell?

Numbers would not have been anything too memorable, but I reckon I had at least a 23 alpha in the can, which would've been a PB for this gear, cos I did some smoking runs into the flats fully lit and managed some nice smooth gybes.

Good fun!

Wonderful day at Safety Bay - enjoyed it a lot.

It's so nice to have good play mates on the water - pushes me to my limits.
