What an awesome session. Thought I was going to be underdone when I headed out but within 15 mins, huey booted in and everything in the world seemed good for while. Good to see PMac back on the water and catch up with some usual dodgy locals

Safety Bay, WA

Initially had a fluff around at Liptons in the morning with WindTech 72 & 7.8 Loft Racing Blade and 22cm FF. The wind didn't really kick in so decided to pack up and head to Safety Bay where it was looking more solid. Decrepit was there too but also left around the same time as me - not sure if he got a sail in.

Got to Carlisle St about 2pm and went out again on the 72 with a 7.0 Loft Racing Blade and 33cm Tribal SPWD. Had a ball and met up with a local Bob Ward and we did some nice runs across the bay and a lap around Penguin Island. Some great swells out the back there and was heaps of fun on the 72 WindTech. Met Andrea for the first time and she was changing down to a 4 something as the wind had really kicked in. I persisted with the 7.0 until I got too tired. First sail for quite some time so was good to be on the water again and clear the cobwebs.
