Boggy Lake, SA, AU, gusty northlies 11 out, strong gusts at times, got a ok sail, found out i had lost downhaul, rope broke, 99l hhawk on 5.5 ezzy, nice warm day till rain came. quit early when lulled out, then it kicked back in, i stayed warm and dry.

el bog. the usual fade and fury of a northerly front with an ealry aftyernoon swing. Ocassionally pushing past 25kts I reckon.

Choped up with 'surprise' violent gusts made it teacherous sailing today. Falcon 78l, 5.2Hellcat, Leon's something-something-Select 27.

Not quite thirty peak, but geez, it felt very lively over that chop!

Moment of the day: Chris D was the lone sailor slogging out back when it swung and started to kick. For about five minutes, bfore it had chance to mush, Chris got some super smooth water. He came thundering home and then threw into a sweet laydown. The foreshore went wild! Noice one :)

FF85, NP5.4,CLW22

Sailed local with Tricky Carl and Sam. The wind was a let down early, was wondering where the hell it was. Had a catch up chat with the guys, great to see them againCool. Headed out an hour later to a gusty Northerly and waited for the pick up in wind. Turned out ok as the wind built but the direction wasn't right for a strong bearaway on Port tack on the flat. Tricky got a good one late and the guys were enjoying the stronger wind. Couple of beers and it was getting dark as we left.

Memorable day with the BogansWink

North Haven, SA, AU. Kym, you missed out on the best bit - the 2nd half. As Oversize Bogan would say - so smooth. So so so so so so so smooth. So so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so 1x10^23 x so smooth. Some pics to capture today's epic sesh are below:

Young Matt. This bloke is getting good:

A up & down sail with Hoppy & 2 mexicans on the way it was cranking 35 - 40 dust tree branches then when we arrive it switched off back to 10 15k Undecided It finally came back for a nice cruze then picked up to a solid 20 but swung a bit west that made it a bit too broard for good speeds.

A couple of beers & home to warm up. Cracker day with Hoppy, Carl & Sam. Isonic 87 Loft RB6.3 Tribal SWS 29

Lake George, SA, AU

20 to 25 knots, CONSTANT N/NE  , sun shining,  another bloody fantastics day at George. weed beds are gone but endless possiblilites up new the spit.

through the islands both ways, between island and spit was best, across the middle infront of spit over the weed beds.

should have been at coxy's if get there as the hike up to spit from 5 mile was hard.

mistral 95 speed / 7.0 R8 19 bp delta, fin too small but persisted fro 100km just as I was up in the speed spot and along way home. pulled high 38 max's but  didnt like the downwind chop. put 25 tribal weed speed on and hoped I didnt hit the bottom.. CRAZYbetter  soooo much more control but wind died.

after lunch wind back up so went 80L patrick speed with 6.2. could get any more speed as wind now up and down with rain.

I think PB with mile  yay

GREAT DAY

On nights so a quick blast for a hour or so. LG at 5 mile. N 20 to 30.

JP wave board, 3.5 then 4.7 Ezzy waves, 24 weedy.

only chucked in wave gear as not feeling it for speed on crap night shift was great on the 3.5 for first 20 minutes then come over stormy and backed of a bit so changed up to 4.7, should havd just went 4.2 from start.

didn't go for any numbers top speed going into my inside gybes.

love using the wave gear just so so easy to sail and gybe.

Lake George, SA, AU

Great day out again at the golden lake with Daishy,

Blue skies 6.2 R7,on the Isonic 80, constant 20 to 25 knots, could only managed 38 knots but still some good clean sections sailed for few hours then went down to 5.2 R7, still on Isonic.

15 to 30.

Alot of fun today with Tricky, 3/4 and full bogan.  Nice to try a new spot not the ideal direction and gusty condtions but still had a ball.  Trickys wind meter at home was saying 40 to 45 and on the way down the farmers top soil was getting ripped off.

Full made a late decision to come and glad he did.  The day started light and ended up with the wind a little more consistent.  Nice to be on the pointer at a weed type location - the fin rocked and luckily picked up very little weed.

Nice to learn the spot and finished the day with some nice gybes and a couple of brewskis with the bogans.

Cheers for the beers 3/4 and the lift to voodoo land - Tricky.  Had a 37.38 on the dial but was downgraded a touch lol.

Patrik 87 / 5.6m gun sails GSR / Black project R30.

well done guys good turn out , pity the months data is 1 day early of june!!

LG is as good as a month ago with the water level higher. No doubt it is COLD! Other guys would have pushed 42 yesterday from the spit EASY. I was on the wrong gear, too small a delta on big gear.

If I had to pick if I like all the weed beds exposed  on the lake and have to sail around them and sail on deltas or ...... all the weed beds covered and sail over them, therefore accessing

* the between the islands

* along the spit

* not hitting "the rock" infront of the spit campng ground.

* avoiding the long walk out at spit

I would chose yesterday but sail from Cocky's

Im looking now to contact council to open the surveyed road strraight to coxys point via the main road , Wish me luck
