Wind looked too iffy and light to justify a trip to Boombas, NE is a good direction for Cobblers and much closer so Waricle and I decided that was the go.

Well I rigged right for the first 1/4hr, the biggest stuff I've got, 6.6koncept, 65cm board and 29cm 45d weedy. Then wind decided to outdo the forecast and I got blown off the water. Rayman arrived as we were down rigging, he seemed to be handling the conditions much better than I did.

You can see I found a nice little speed bank at Ward Pt, the wind was close to an ideal angle for it. It's a pity I only got the 2 runs in before the wind was just too strong

Here's a closer look.

I wasn't making as much use of it as I could have, should have started a bit higer, I would have had longer runs

Olive Reserve, WA, AU hawk 124 koncept 6.2 tws31 fangy 24 Initally had weed problems  so changed to fangy. Hard work in the conditions for not much reward. 0 knots then 25-30 with some sailable stuff inbetween. Better than not sailing and had Decrepit for company and Rayman went out just as we were packing up.

Melville Beach, WA, AU  JP 135, 5.4 enduro then 4.2 icon, Supercruiser with 1700 wing then 1300 wing.

Stroppo had an RDO today and was keen for a strong wind foil. Unfortunately due to work I was going to be unable to join him. That is until after starting work there was a power cut and it wasnt going to be a quick fix. So thanks to western power and an understanding boss it was on. Hit Pinnas teritory about 11 and the wind was still a bit lame so after plenty of chatting finaly hit the water and soon became overpowered. Stuck on the 4.2 and smaller front wing and it was all on. Me and Strop were carving it up in the quite large wind swells, well at least we thought we were untill JJ appeared and made us look quite ordinary. Very impressive to see how hard and fast he can turn. Gives us something to aim for though. Probably my best sesh yet on the foil, it was so much FUN.
