It ended up being a mission getting to GH for the sesh. I really wanted to be there earlier but Perth traffic & road works were against me.
Arrived to see half a dozen wet cold smiling peeps on the grass, presumably resting after an morning sesh. Well it was blowing as the forecast said. I was bouncing around, jumping outa my shoes getting ready.
Ratz, Stretchyman, Waricle, Steve, Dennis & Dean there. Adam showed up just as i was about to hit the water. It was fairly crankin with the fast guys going fast and then there was Steve, going really fast!!! Great speeds there Old Salty Bouncy Nutz! Great to have Dennis out in difficult conditions and this time plenty around him to keep him going.
One of my first runs was the long one and it was great. I tried a few times to repeat but the wind was changing direction a little bit and i couldnt maintain my angle up wind. Dang to that as the run back would have been a leg burner for sure.
Adam seemed to really enjoy the location and says he'll be back. And great that he made the long trip down to be with us all and be on a slapper again.
The wind was dying and I was wishing that i had my bigger board. All in all a great sesh given the numbers posted by all and a pleasent suprise with mine. I have to download my Motion data to see if theres any difference to the canmore. I did notice that it slipped under my vest shoulder strap at one stage so im expecting some different numbers. If all is good then Ill stop with the canmore while I wait for the big Motion to be produced.
