Great time out on the foil. 7.0 was very solid at times.

Kenny was cranking out there today.

Windier than expected gusting up to 23 knots and then gradually getting lighter. Good fun foiling with Lunny and Ben.

It was much windier than expected when I arrived - 10 - 20 knots in gusts, so I decided the 6.2 would be the best compromise, only to find that sail was not in the car. 5.4 would not have been enough, and 7 would have been a handful to gybe in the gusts, so it was back home to get the 6.2. Of course, by the time I returned the wind had dropped right off and there was barely enough to bother. So, I ended up using the 7m sail anyway, which was barely enough some of the time and not enough much of the time. It was everything I hate about westerlies - gusty, shifty and looks stronger than it is. Never the less there were a few nice runs and it was probably worth going out. Just. Not a top 10 Melville day.

Good to see the team on the board with some decent numbers to start. Lunny, you had a lot of fun! Sorry I missed you Antman.
