Mallacoota, VIC, AU GWS Mallacoota. Southerys are becoming a bit more predictable as it warms up, so much so we were looking at the slowest post for the Maids so far until it filled in, almost on time. Mickey smashed it again as i did my sail. The Atomic i got off Kato is pretty awsome. My fastest speed was in the rough with that fin in and i got so excited on the way back that i ate it and put my knee through my new 6.6 Koncept, thanks mate!. Mickey thought he would try and slow the Atomic 28 down by sailing the whole strip with the fin cover on, is that a shout. hehehe JP 105, Atomic 32, Delta 26, KA 6.6 reduced to 5.9

Does anyone know of a sail repair person up the coast towards Sydney. Or any sail repair joint that can get me back on the water. Maid down, Maid down.

Yes, very disappointed about the drag of the Atomic fin cover. I think Mr Love needs to do some more work on it. After a few hndred metres of sub-planing conditions on the first run I couldn't stand it any longer and had to remove it.  The fin on the other hand is awesome.

Seems like there's no such thing as the sanctity of the confessional around here.

Ha...sorry the covers are designed to protect the fin out of the water.  At least you did not do what i did once and wonder why I kept flying on may arse every time I jumped on the board and sheeted in and after 3 attempts turned to board over to fin no fin.

Vonpat...did the fin let go on you?  which fin was it?
