1506 days ago Lumpy everywhere today, but enjoyed it enough to say I'm ready for a few days work on the farm later this week. Knees will be sore for a few days. Winds were E/SE and lighter at first, then picked up to ~18knots+ from the SE in the mid afternoon. Like the first mission to Mars I failed to make it back to base on the first run back by not clearing the Point Jetty and then had to make the walk of shame home via the lower boat ramp. Made some adjustments to my sail, put on a bigger fin and hey presto, back in action again. Said hello to a Osprey flying overhead, lingering a tad to watch. Birds were not the only creatures to fly today. Plenty of small turtles out and about as well.
