Feels soo good to have a great sail! Good breeze and lots of people on the water to play with. Need to show up earlier to get a car park though! Unrolled my new green machine - Loft  Racing Blade 7.7m today, no tuning straight out the bag and felt great and not bad speeds either for the lumpy water.

Christchurch Estuary, NZ  ..Early evening sail as the tide came up. Wind easterly so there was a bit of a shadow on the inside by the yacht club, but still a nice breeze to be found on the other side. Had a very enjoyable sail. ..Exocet 80L/55W, Severne M2 7.0, Drake 30cms.

Lyttelton Harbour, Started on the Loft RB 6.3 but doesnt have the right mast so no top end at all, so rather than continue using it i dropped down to the 5.5 with the right mast. Underpowered as most where on at least 7.0, i really had to work hard to get the 30 average but was worth it as it was at least 2 knots faster than the 6.3. Shows how much its important to have the right set up with the racing sails, FF 79 LRB 6.3, M1 5.5, C3 30
