Woody-Mark (15938km): Albany, WA, AU A fun warmup day for tomorrow. Enjoyed the Falcon 56 and a delta in the gusts with the Vapor 6.4. Got back on the Manta 61 for the last half hour for a few alphas. Great bunch of locals, mobsters and Pinnas and a few extras. Top day.
Flatchat (9962km): Albany, WA, AU A good little session with hopefully more favourable wind strength and direction tomorrow. Many out in the smooth and quite a few more coming apparently! Too draggy for the 20cm delta but the smooth on offer was as usual awesome. Good to catch up with the like minded nutbags who seemed to all have large smiles on their faces. SB i87, E5 6.4m, Tribal delta 20
Antman (25255km): Albany, WA, AU..Amazing place to sail with a great bunch of fellow sailors. Felt good on the 6.2 nx,53 patrick,18 cl delta speed
SRS73 (16662km): Melville Beach, WA, AU Ummm... I wasn't in Albany :) AV 72.5, S2 Venom 7.7, 36 Pointer
Pointman (26088km): Dutchies. Drove by Peli and it looked pretty light, so kept driving to the coast. Looked windy out to sea, and another sailor said it was gusting 25K+ 'out the back'. By the time I heard this I'd already rigged the WT64 + 7.8 M3 + 38 CL SL2 combo, so I had a crack. I was over-powered, so changed down to the 7.0 TR9 and plugged in a 33 Tribal weedy. Horrible confused chop, so it was hard to find a line for any sort of speed. I gave it away after a few runs, as it was pretty unpleasant TBH. Peli on the 8.6 wouldv'e been much more enjoyable. Breeze dropped not long after I got off the water anyway, so just a dud mission allround really.

Pos (14233km): Albany, WA (Lilacs) Messed up the upload and overwrote with todays numbers (10/12). Corrected now with data from Wednesday 9th. Cruise Missile with 6.3 Loft and variety of fins (Windtech Stealth 24, FF20). Didn't have board tuned well for conditions so hoping to do better tomorrow. About a dozen guys out - such an awesome spot! |
