JP SS125 Tribal WS35 NP V8 7.2

that ended up being a pretty good sesh! I was looking at the conditions when i got there thinking that ill not be back again for a long while again. But to my surprise ive got some good numbers.

Out with Drew & Steve who arrived 30km before me. Rigged the 7.2 because my 430 mast had a grinding session along the road and is more a 400 now. So no 6.7 option. The boys were going ok but not really loving it. I saw some little fishes but it was too snot weedy for any mermaidens long hair. I think i saw Drew find a crab.The boys left me about 4 and i continued til 545 thinking that id do an hour . I blew a few gybes and think that if i actually tried i could have had a 20knt+ result. Wind increased and the 7.2 went to the bottom clew position and allowed me to not sheet out, great!

Anyhoo it ended up being quite a good after wook trip

Slow start with a dodgy direction but the wind came in the end. Good fun sail with Drew and Dave when he got there. I'll be back for some more cause I wasn't overpowered at any stage and still got my best time in Augusta to date. So surely I have to see what it can produce when the stars align?

Great part of the day was the inspiration from watching Serge's daughter smashing out some of the fastest speeds in the channel on a 50L board!! Super stoked for the new generation.
