Lake George, SA

Another lovely day on the Golden Lake.

A little less wind today bit oh so nice!

Tried for a few Alphas and happy to do better than yesterday in less sind.

I explored right to the top of the lake and found the same big glassy patch as we were running last year on starboard tack. Laughing

I finally spotted Cam and trei\\\\ied to follow him. I thought he was going in very close to the shore but incorrectly assumed he knew where he was going. WRONG! He suddenly hit the bottom and crashed. Too late for me and I crashed too! well, at least we got a chance to have a chat. LOL!

I followed Jimbob guiding Jill to the good spots and hopefully got some good video. Smile. I managed to catch up the Ash for the same but I couldnt find anyone else. They muct have been off exploring as well?

Lots of fun again today. Reset and repeat tomorrow. Tongue out

2021 Koncept6.6, AtomicWeedWeapon22, Mistral112...... L'GroundHog Day, Cafe, Cappa, Brekky Roll, Iced Coff'', Lime Cheesecake, catch up with crew.   Head to Cocky's, looks widy but less than yesterday.   Conspire with team to send Daffy out first on secret mission up the top of the lake after my recon day before noting the slippery virgin glass luring hardened ol'salt speed dogs to enter from the windy hairy section that abutts it.

Matt and I take our time rigging and wait for stage-1 of Mr Quick's mission thats has hopefully not arroused the susspicion of the other teams present on the hunt.  He proceeds quickly to the Spit for Stage 2 climax as a decoy duck buzzing the other team members and filming their antics.   Matt and I make our move as stage 2 underway head up the Gloden Lake for some glassy ones.

Was under sailed' n finned as the other side of the lake hade some wind holes to swallow alot of gybe exit speed to let us know I should of rigged 7.7.  Stayed a short while and left Matt to ripple on the slippery stuff n sent it off to the spit.

Spit was doing its own slippery sections where other teams were getting a fix slingshotting them below the smelly isle's.  Got a fast one but felt slow as I slipped across the golden weed n water speed elixir in silence with no ripple chatter to pull a 39 peak with a lucky gust provided by a symphony of duck farts from bird shit island.   Steered the SS Misty112 windward to wash some speed off n point past Dr Cam's Ka'rnival on the spit with an almighty bang as a submerged something hit the hull/fin.

Few runs down the spit with Ash on smaller gear making the most of it before a bit of a slogg upwind to Cocky's as Matt headed by to get some Slippery Spit action.   Got to Cocks and did a few more runs waiting for Matt to return with some glass there on the inside for gybe fun.

Pack up n pizza back in town, another good day at The Lake Cool

It looks really inviting in the pictures...you need to shoot in Odorama to put it in context.
