Sailquik (29582km): Lake George, SA A little more wind today, slightly more consistent in the high 20's at times. The wind seemed to peak at between 5pm and 6pm and thats when I got the fastest runs. Even then I was underdone on the 5.2m, but it was very comfortabe. Sailed the 5.2m and CA40 speed board all session. I came back in twice to have a drink and a rest. The 16cm Atomic proto delta weed was faultless again. I went deep and fast though some patches of BIG chop trying to find a NM and it was rock solid. I'm a little disappointed I could not find a consistently powered NM, but happy enough given the less than epic conditions. Saw a 42.00 peak in the GW60, and there were the same in the Motion. Very pleased with that. Personal Alpha PB on the CA40 speed board. Very pleased with that too! Fun day and I tried to make the most of it with a few low wind/no wind days coming up. That might give me a chance to toil through the video footage I have g=from the last 2 days. Great to see all the smiling faces today. Lots of fun had by many. CA40, Atomic Weed Delta 16cm Proto.2021 5.2m KA Speed. Mini Motion GPS.
Spotty (8858km): KaRace7.7 & 6.3, Mistral112, AtomicWW2,24, Jetty Cafe late brekky overlooking the blue skies & sun kissed bay with a coolish breeze starting to build. Headed out to Cockies to rig 7.7 and by the time I had done that it the wind had strengthened. 7.7 handled real nice and pulled a 41 peak, 39 10sec before coming in as the wind filled in more and was time to change down to 6.3 for another Hr attempt Hr went well with the stiffer breeze improving from yesterday, headed down to the isles and had fun knocking the tops off the frothy snot tops making em explode.
Ado (4489km): Area 45, Mahers Landing, VIC, AU Pretty windy.
Should be proper speed sailing today!
