Lake George, SA, AU

Good fun fin testing but I was slow with my foot injury still an issue.  A big crew out and great to see everybody sreaming around.

The new Delta proto felt great but I was just not up tp pushing iy hard enough.  Daffy and  Spotti both used the new protos and went fast.

KaKoncept7.7Race, AtomicGroundZeroDelta24, Mistral137,  some good powered up sailing making the Gieger counters tick lots of boxes, had a new Atomic Proto under the aircraft carrier getting its engines to sing as it went into the interstate battle today with lots of crew on the lake today.  Could load the fin up nice n fire kaBlams tight-up n deep-downwind.

Did the top to bottom with some good glass about and blew the tops of a few Coopers frothies down at the spit before heading back up to 5mile to mow the weed.   Ghostied a gybe coming in hot off 5mile n tucked n rolled onto back n scraped some duck sauce off the bottom with the back of my harness... was just deep enough.

Lake George, SA

Light wind day but very nice.

First sail on my new 2017 iSonic 87 and another of Martins proptotype weed delta fins. This board is perfect with my KA Race 6.3m so I'm very happy.

The 22 cm weedie worked exceptionall well. Not one hint of even insipient spinout in the whole session, and that included smashing downwind over chop in the middle of the lake.

There are large glassy areas up the Packum end of the lake now.

Lots of traffic today. I needed to keep my eyes peelled. Surprised

Great writeup Spotty and love the pics!

Daffy I told you the 87litre would be ideal with the 6.3m 😉

Glad you like it but sheesh..couldn't you have worked it up to speed slowly.? It will be traumatized..😉😁
