Bostonfoil (17127km): Valentine, NSW, AU JPHF135 GTR+ SS5.8 SW 10-25kts - Super sesh in a gusty southerly. A huge roll up of wingers and sailboarders enjoying the bumpy conditions. The NM was as much fun as ive had in a long time! First go on the new 5.8. I have the feeling I will be using it a lot more.
Bruce Healey (24292km): Canton Beach, NSW, AU Surprise southerly, a bit rough
I am so unfit Casl93, 5.9 21 fin.
Murray Towndrow (8653km): Valentine, NSW, AU Looked too windy, but my mentor psyched me out and I did not want a repeat of the the other day. Ended up being quite reasonable SW - S mostly 14-18 but sometimes 18-22 and other times 12 - 14. 7.8 sail with 800 wing 110 fuse. Nice sail with a good old faitlful Valo crew present

Andrew Haigh (50238km): Lake George, SA, AU, SE 15-20 Nice moderate day to kick things off. CA100, 20 kestrel, 7.0 North. Bit of a struggle to start with, everything set up wrong and had forgotten how to sail. Gybes where hopeless, flipping like I would foiling does not work. After a couple of hours I settled down into the low hanging slalom position and everything felt good.
Chopper (3675km): Lake George, SA, AU Mistral Explosion, Retro 6.5 First time at Lake G - great, fun sail - out early and in before it got too windy. Thanks to all for the hints and making sure I was Ok when floundering.
Byron Mcilveen (64411km): Lake George, SA, AU S2 venom 7.7 falcon 115 S2 venom 7 falcon 90 Best speed on the big gear should have stayed on it as 7 and 90 was not enough still flat water heaven and nice way to finish the trip. Great fun getting to know people realy enjoy the social part.
sboardcrazy (25098km): 15-20kts SSE 5mila Lake George 6.6m KA- RS2 ( 90ltres) - 21.5cm FF ( cutdown 24 ) Finally some decent alpha!! Yeehaa.. Apparently I got 2 over 20 and 2 over 21kts.. It didn't start well with having a Covid test and getting there late then had an argument with the KA trying to rig it... I coudn't get the top cam on and I had to flag down some muscley fishermen who struggled to get it on.. Once out there the boom clamp kept coming open and I'd be sailing along trying to close it. It came right off at one stage and I had to stop undo the outhaul and put it back on.. The rig was making ominous noises as I sailed When I unrigged I realised the rope was only partially over the lip.. The boomcutout is tight and I have to put it on by feel.. Anyway.. Other than that it was a fantastic session! Flat over at 5 mile - 15cm chop in the middle and a weedberg patch followed by glass at Cockies.. I was a bit worried about gybing the RS2 as I haven't sailed it for ages but the first was a fully planing effortless gybe..Yay I've still got it.. That is one sweet board.. Super comfy and controllable in chop and gybes like a dream! It's not as fast as my Iso87 was but is a really fun board to sail. I decided to try for some alphas. Andrew's fields helped even though I don't really know how to fully use them yet..'No real plan just having fun and going for some blats in the flat stuff every now and then.. Terrific session..great fun Heaps out .My sail window was cloudy so I've cleaned it today for the next session. Andrew, Nic, Daffy , Greg , Byron and many others..
