Day 3 - Golden lake - 15 to 20.

What a day at Lake George.  After being underpowered yesterday decided on the 115 and 7m.  Plan was distance so went with the big board and if the wind cranked later to do a one hour on smaller kit.

On the water at 9am and another surreal glassy lake - looked light nothing but doing 33 knots on big board was so much fun.

Sailed till 12pm and the wind dropped so went in and had lunch and topped up gps for the arvo sesh.

1.30pm the wind came back and headed back out top up more k's and claim the pb.

Sam and me had a ball dragging the front foot while passing each other like we were barefoot skiing behind a boat.

Finished the sesh at just after 6pm and Sam kept going - crazy bugger.  Well done mate on the nice k's and even though you have lost a little weight you are still f%^%ing fast lol.

One of the best days at LG - great to catch up with Daffy and Martin love and course Sam - having a ball as usual.

As i type it is howling outside and my back is hurting lol.

Hopefully another breeze - tomorrow arvo...

Patrik 115 / 2020 ka sail race 7m / Tribal delta 20.

The Spit, Lake George, SA, AU

6.3 KA RAce 115 Patrik then 92 Patrik then back to the 115.

Rigged for the forcast not the conditions.Should have put up the 7.3.  Expected the wind to come in but it didn't. First session on the 115. Had some good runs over towards Cockies.

Wind appeared to be increasing so went in for lunch and change down to the 92.  Bad move. Grovelled around for ages. Went in and changed back to the 115.

Unexpected PB's.

Were else would you want to be.Smile
