Capt Calm Carl came for a sail at the local & BIG was the gear light ESE made for some nice cruzie sailing Came in early to chat to carl as he packed up for the drive home, Nice sweet light wind session finished with a bogan beer with Carl   BTW Hoppy was still cruzing back n forth on the smooth stuf

Went to Cockys after work but the wind after blowing all day dropped off to 15 knots. . Got on the water and suddenly its 25 knots solid. Another day would have changed to my smaller board .... Fut 107, SvOD 7.0, Trib delta 16.

Stansbury - 10 to 12 and then 10 to 17.

Fun day at Stansbury - 1st sesh solo in the morning in a 10 to 12 knot breeze with the big board and 7.7 and was slogging and pumping most of the session to get going.  Used the borrowed XT-50 22 off Daishy - didn't like the combo i was using.  Dropped the downhaul and negative outhaul and wow i was semi planing and managed a 24 knot peak in bloody light breeze - rig now a powerhouse.  Managed just under 30 k's and my body was hurting real bad.  Not sure if getting old or the 1300 k's i had done in the last 3 weeks lol.  Headed in for lunch and waited for the locals to arrive.

Sesh 2 with Trick and Hoppy.   They arrived and so did the breeze.  They opted for 7ish and 100 litre and i stayed with the big combo.  Off we went and the locals with the Fangies headed up to the better water whilst i strruggled with the powerhouse - i couldn't even go upwind and my back was hurting lol.  Adjusted outhaul and harness lines but no better so after a few runs i headed in.

Tricky managed a few runs in the glass and headed in for a catch up beer - cheers and we left Hop to it.  He was having a ball in the glass and cranking gybes so we left him to it while i did the 200 k drive home with my last night before to work.

Fun day and great to catch up with Trick and Hop .
