I've been looking forward to the forecast 10-15kts all week. Mainly 5kts with a few patches of 8 - 10kts I was in a crabby mood and I was looking forward to a planing session to cheer me up.. it wasn't going to happen If I can get enough wind to get the board to 7-8kts it's quite pleasant with a long board feel. I got about 10mins of this out of the 1.30hr session. One bit was fun as I 'surfed" on the chop coming back down from the point. I suppose if i'd been in the right frame of mind it wasn't too bad - consistently light , warm with not too many boats . Cripes I'm looking forward to the day we get enough wind to get planing again..
