Peel Inlet, WA, AU ca66 5.9tr7 tws 31 short session to try out my recently acquired5.9. Couldn’t be happier. A crew of mainly septuagenarians and young Joseph till very young Rocky joined us. Wind was up and down and water wasn’t smooth but I needed the TOW. Happy days.

Glory Holes, Australind, WA, AU. Tried for a sail after work but missed it. Best wind as I was rigging and carrying my gear to the water

Another TOW session, with Joe, Peter, James and Steve, Simon arrived as we were leaving.

Another gusty up and down winter conditions so went with the 55cm board to handle the lulls and 5.7 speed to handle the gusts. Fin was a big problem, I had to convert the wagon to a passenger vehicle and somehow overlooked the fin quiver when I reloaded. I wanted to use the 26cm@45deg to handle the chop, but the best I had with me was the 20cm deltoid@50deg. Spun out on me a couple of times going upwind in the chop and I couldn't pull it back, wasn't too bad going downwind but I didn't have a lot of confidence in it, couldn't find water with wind, that was flat enough for it.

Thus once again proving my hypothesis of the wind dropping five knots for every sail rigged!!
