Green Island, QLD, AU Forecasted 30+ knots disappeared overnight .Frown

Wind in the 20-25 knot range  with reef flats still raging from yesterday -swell coming from all directions ..!!

Enjoyable overall -got to dial in the NP Evo 12 6.6-its a keeper & the FMX racing 88 invictus -it's also a keeper Smile Nice combo for today .

Island is very quiet today -no boats  & very few guests -feels strange for this time of year .

The China Virus ...Aggghhhrrrrr !!Cry

Port Douglas, QLD, AU.Quick sail after work..Haven't had a chance to get out with all this great wind around..But managed to get down the beach for happy hr.. Wind was blowing some where between  20 to30 kts..Ended up rigging 6.5m turbo with to much down haul and the smallest fin i could find 36cm on 105 Fox..Had a really tough  session haven't seen the ocean this rough for ages and there was some radical wind shifts which made it a bit hard to stay dialed in for the whole time..Got a bit over powered out in the big pool a couple of times and trusty Fox took a real beating ,but never put a foot wrong the whole session and i think it  has come home with no new scares on it..I really like this board and i am not that keen to destroy it..My mate Rick who has been sailing really well this year came out for a blast but got blowen off the water on his 107 isonic with a 5.5m rig he was a bit disapointed that he didn't bring down his 90lt board..Think he would of ' kicked ass' on that board..I thought about grabbing his smaller rig at one stage but then i rembered he was using a alloy boom and i new that it would of ended badly and i wasn't in the mood for a long swim home as the sun went down..Was using my old gorilla mast today as it is really soft and twists off good when the big gust hit i think that might of saved the day for me..Had a good blast till sun down...Guess it was worth rigging up for Cheers Ed..
