el bog sww 19-25kts. some lulls, rolling chop plus the occasional squall made it all vey interesting. up top was a bit better but struggled for my groove today, but no complaints - I still enjoyed some spicy sailing nonetheless.

Falcon 79, BPR325, Mach One 6.2.

Phil, Leon, Sam and I kicked around in it then Soto arrived and started eating it up on a seven. Another two new faces went out and looked quite handy slalom sailors! I didnt get to speak with them. they were still sailing when I packed, a pity - I wonder where they were from and if they've heard the good word of the bogan? I have pamphlets.

Nice session at BL.

RRD X-Fire 114 & S2 Maui Venom 7.0. The gusts were too low to score more but it was a perfect sailing to end the week.

The 2 other guys (with NP sails) are some (French) colleagues.

Sounds like the mouth was much kinder Pete!

Impressive sailing Soto, that was some uncooperative conditions yesterday, but it seems it didnt matter to you! Nicely done. :D

There's a 30+ degree day forecast this week, seabreezes are soooooo close now.

I will keep an eye on the forecast for the week. I dream of a strong Southern wind to have some speed runs along the south bank. Does it happen sometimes?

SSW is the prevailing direction for sailable wind - the blue bit I've highlighted signifies 15-21kts. During a warm summer the seabreeze here is very reliable: sailable most afternoons for those with medium-biggish gear. But true south days do happen. The launch area gets surprisingly deeper on a good south, while the far side dips.
