falcon 79, BPWS28 (then 31), Mach 1 6.2

Big turn out - good day on the water with the bois. In the first session a bit underdone and couldn't pinch up into the reedy bay. A quick pit stop to sub in 31 plus the wind kicked and pointing was no longer a problem. Heading out tonight so bailed early, but ppl still arriving when I left.

So I was the slowest on the lake today and not sure why. Gear felt food although I guess my fin was slightly small but normally that means better top speed so who knows 🤣🤣.

Well done all and great fun sesh 😀😀

Carl you and your new sail was on fire.

Boggy Lake, SA, AU 20knots with some gusts, 113L 7.0GSR gun 38 tribal mark 2 ( sweet )  perfect set up, tried speed board later but cant really work it at boggy well.

hard to decide if weed speed is more fun than a slalom fin?    max speed verses rip roaring up wind and across wind???

Boggy Lake, SA, AU - 15 to 20 knots.

Great day with a huge turnout.  Arrived to a decent 15 to 20 breeze and it stuck around all day.  Great to have Full Bogan back on the water with the usual laughs.  Headed straight up to the top reed bank and hung around there cruising in a nice breeze for hours.  It was hard to line up a good gust in the right spot but managed a decent one to see 35.90 on the screen but couldn't seem to line up another one.

Patrik 87 / Loft blade 6.3 / Tribal weed speed 29.

Boggy Lake. First sail since May. Bit rusty at first then settled down after a few adjustments.

Can't download from GW60 watch as both cables will only charge. GT31 did not record to card and now does not recognise card.

Used 6.3 KA Race on the 115 Patrik for most of the session then put on the 92 Patrik for a few runs.

Well done choco. You do very well for someone that has to motivate yourself as a lone sailed. Great work 😀😀

Ha ha SAM !! I know now it’s about the fin and what you want to achieve fir the day. Or maybe we just choose the wrong set up! You had too smaller board fir the conditions! And maybe a 32 slalom would have made all the difference. I was lit with 38 , you were sagging, I could see it. Same with Carl with weed speed fin, upwind I was 5% faster , cross wind ,2% faster unless really windy, then down wind 2 % lower! I put smaller board on with stash and weed speed and Stash kick my butt. Same thing with Chris d. He was trying smaller board and just not enough wind to get fully lit. The only other maybe factor?? Is the $500 carbon fin I have. It really is spectacular 😂😂 I’m going to hit the bottom soon and cry. But I’m NEVER going back to G10. Btw nice speed Carl , always seem to find the right gust at right time 👍

Jack, my GT31 did the same just recently. I reset the GT31 to factory reset in the menu and then adjusted to GPSTC settings. Then format the SD card from the GT31 not your computer. Bingo it works great again. If you have already tried this then disregard, cheers.

Also nice to catch up with you yesterday.
