Area 45, Mahers Landing, VIC, AU

Pretty crazy conditions, was getting smashed on a 5.3m and managed to do a couple of good stacks when the board decided to go for a fly in a big gust! Was good fun.

Area 45, Mahers Landing, VIC, AU

Better session with much better wind. Still not our usual SE but better. Had to wait forthe tide to go out and the lightning to stop before getting wet.

Blairgowrie to Rye, VIC, AU, Windsurfer-LT, East 20-30Knts,   upwind sesh to Rye and back, fun waves n wind swell to send it seaworthy.  Practiced gybes n tacks on way up not using much dagger and wound it out enough on the way back in speed mode enough to blowout n lose its port pissflapSealed

Lake George, SA.

Great day on the Lake. 25-30 knots, full overcast and occaisioal drizzle. very hard to find the flat water patches when there was a gust. But how could you not enjoy this if you are a speed addict?! Smile

we waited until mid afternoon to hit the water on the promised forecast of the best winds being mid to late afternnon. I think that was correct, but it was hard to tell as the wind was unusually gusty with no thermal effect driving it. There were definitly a few gust in the low 30's but getting them when you were wound up and on the football field flat patches was quite hit and miss. Very well done to the guys hat got it right. Cool

It was great to witness Ashley getting his first 40 x 2 secs and Andy hitting his PB straps for an excellent 41. 56 and 38.52 5x10. Excellent wffort guys getting closer to your potential! CoolCool

Well done to Kempster for showing us the way to go faster, although I recon Hamma was right up there too.

And Jimbob was cruising around on a wave board and a 3.5m wave sail making it look soooo easy! Probably for another 100km session!

I would not have wanted to be anywhere else today.

Except maybe on those flat patches when a hge gust hit?  Sealed

I thought I had a couple of mid 41's but it turns out the cheap phone was giving me misinformation. More on this later as I think it's an excellent example of why it, and other non verifyable devices, are not on the approved list.

I great start to the LG season. May it continue to get even better.  In a few weeks there will be much larger areas of flat water. Tongue out
