Very nice sunny afternoon on the wather with Shane & Steve. Was a bit patchy when I first went out & spent a bit of time only just in the straps. Felt like it was becoming a bit more consistent & stronger as the sessio went on. Stopped a bit early for night shift tonight.

Lilacs Patric 92 TR16 7.0 FF20.

Just because you can do it does not mean you should!

I can use the FF20 with some success in the Patrik 92/TR7.0 combo but I think it is a little small. I therefore cannot commit to much back leg pressure and that makes the combo less than ideal.

I went out to do an hour and saw Jeremy wizzing back and forth. having suggested distance during the week I felt duty bound to back up Jeremy if distance was the goal. Wind behaved as forecast and drooped at 430 ish.

All in all a great sail with Jeremy and Shane and at the end Gazman. Garry had board speed a lot better thanmine. I will hide behind an excuse of fatigue as I had passed 100km. I am not sure it is entirely hones on my partInnocent

Nice going Shane and and Jeremy. Funny thing happened to me this afternoon. I ran down the NM and gybed, and my fin picked up a long trail of weed. I tried repeatedly to jump to free it and finally fell in. I was cross and rather than get straight back on I stood there and cursed for a while. And that was the start of the hour. So in continued for an hour and a half without stopping, convinced the wind improved at the end and therefore I would improve the hour. It didn’t. What would have improved it was accepting the fall and getting on with the sailing 😄😄. Important self improvement tip for next time.
