Hardie (35820km): Albany Lilacs, magic day one of my best days ever, big thanks to Mark the Wood, as I was sailing fast but stuck in the 38's and he downhauled my sail out in the water for me and I instantly had 4 x runs of 40kts plus. Nude 54/ TR11 5.9m Pepefoil hybrid 18. Mission was to get a decent NM, accomplished that. Was probably a PB nm waiting for me at the end but ran out of puff.
Wont steal anyone's thunder but expect big speeds and PB's galore.
Doddi (7589km): Lilacs 5.6 Loft RB , 52w fmx Great day on the water with awesome crew. Numbers were a shock. Just good to be back sailing an enjoying it. Quick sesh again as fitness needs to get there.
remery (5318km): Albany, WA, AU I should've made more of the epic conditions, I was plain old overpowered. I'll take the Alpha PB though (Thanks for the tips Woody).
evets (21500km): Lilacs JP55SL Tribldelta16 then JP45SP tribaldelta14 TR18 5.9 Great fun with loads of people. Could not get over 36 on the 55 and immediately gained a knot swapping to the SP. And maybe the wind had picked up, If i cannot do 40today maybe I just cannot do it! But had loads of fun trying. top 5 for 2 sec and 5x.
waricle (18943km): Albany, WA, AU M95 is80 KAR5.5 fangy 18s tide still low but better than yesterday and the wind picked up during the day. Lots of happy smiling faces including mine. A lot of pbs today too. ( not mine) Albany turns it on again. Wouldn’t be dead for quids.
Morts (16110km):
KA Speed 5.7. Manta 59W + W'Tech Stealth 20, Manta 54W + FF29
Really stoked to be out there with a great crew who were cracking out PB's & Top 5's.
Started on the 59 Manta which was a bit big but felt a lot more comfortable when I canged down to the 54. Should have spent a bit more time on Starboard tack as that seems to be where I got my best speeds. Happy to follow Elmo's advice & just tick my 2 sec up a whisker into the 38/
As a wise man once said Happy Days!!!!

Rondog (8978km): Albany, WA, AU HaHa my first post i hope. What a fantastic day. tried so hard to get that 40kn on that board. had to prove some friends it could be done Its so great to sail with all you lot from Perth and the locals. so the the board is a simmer monster 100lt, fin home made by Shane and 6.2 sail. see you next time Ronnie
Decrepit (54652km): YAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Yes just so stoked! Magic day on the water, about the best I've seen Lilacs, Tide was just right to match brilliant wind. Used the 48cm board with 5.2 speed, changed the fin to the 17cm starboard assy@50 deg. So was doing starboard runs, whereas the majority of sailors were going on port. Although the *gW52 showed 40.45 I wasn't sure I had a 402 as the corresponding 10s wa only a 36. Wind was a bit gusty, and I was having a problem sailing into lulls, oversheeting ands stalling the sail. I think thats what happened here. Sailed into a gust, lent back into it, then stalled as I went through it. But fortuntely it did last the full 2s Great bunch of sailors to sail with, I think they are more excited than I am, that I've finally cracked the big 40.
Here's the crayons
* Yep,that's right GW52. Yesterday, my new refurbished GW60, lost it's buckle, I was very lucky not to loose the W60 as well, I noticed it was loose before it dissapeared into Albany harbour. We did the rounds of Albany jewlers today but nobody had a buckkle wide enough.
Edit, just been amusing myself checking numbers, this was definitely my fastest day. top 10s 2.2.22 38.410 Lilacs 12.2.2013 38.144 Lake George 5.7.2017 38.128 Liptons 16.3.2013 38.070 Lilacs
