Troppo (597km): Feeling unfit, and made friends with the sandbank at the spit. Broke the rope on the boom head, thanks to a bridesmaid for the spare rope! Headed back and changed from the 5.8 to 5.4 Isonic, 5.4 Koncept 21 sym
Tone (3817km): Lake George, SA, AU JPS Speed racing 50 65L, 5.0m KA Koncept 2009, Atomic 20cm Weed Weapon aching to break 35, thought I saw it on the watch, but nah.
Sailquik (29582km): Lake George, South Australia. The strongest wind so far this season that I have seen. Solid high 20's with occaisional gusts to low 30's. Measured multiple times and for long periods at Cockies. I immediatly knew a few prople would almost certainly get into the 43-45 kts range and thought I may be one of them. NADA! Banging up against 41 all day. something wasn't quite right. Homework to do? Or maybe I've just lost it in my old age? I sailed the whole lake looking for a fast spot. Flat water was harder to find today with the wind strength, but there were a few good spots beside the run down out from the 5 Mile. There will be some big numbers and PB's today for sure. CA40, Atomic Nuclear 16cm prototype, 2022 KA Race 5.2m
