Lake George, SA, AU 18 to 25.

Day 2 - windy all day.  Used the 87 / 6.3 racing blade combo and tribal delta 20 for a one hour- happy with a high 25 and a nice cruise from above 5 mile to tbe spit.  Went in for lunch and decided to take out the ab 46 and tribal 16 sym a few runs in decided call it as feet blisters have come back lol.

Cheers Casey for the trip and spoon last night lol and all the great people I hadn't seen for a while 😊👍😎

LG Day 2.

Started on the 7.1Gun 112rrd 21fangy, was going along well plenty of power

Dropped down to the 6.3 as I wanted to try out Hammas 99l falcon and didn't want to destroy it.  Great board probably a bit under finned with the 20 tribal sym.  Finished up on my 79L Falcon felt great but had bad timing with the gusty.

Great weekend sailing, was good meeting all of the interstaters, I need to do this more often.

Lake George, SA, AU

Quick day trip to LG again on a promising forecast. Was lighter to begin with so rigged iS90 / 7.0M4 / 21 Tectonics Speed Demon (kindly lent to me by Dezza to try out - thanks Dezza!!)). Managed my fastest ever peak speed on the slalom board and visited most parts of the lake. Came in for a snack and changed to iS87 / 18 Tribal Delta for comparison, and somehow turned off my GPS. The numbers were no faster on the iS87 and I'd done 124km by the end of the session. I think the Tectonics and Tribal were fairly equal in upwind and downwind. The 7.0 was a struggle in the second session as the wind had picked up substantially and others were on 5.2 - 5.8 sails. so the 7.0 no doubt slowed me down in the end. Had a massive stack and will bruise up nicely after colliding with the boom at speed!! Still a great day and home safely which is a bonus.

Lake George, SA, AU 20 to 25 sse,

98 L FMX ,7.0GSR GUN, 22 tribal delta sym. beautiful combo did hr focusing on alphas as delta couldnt get drive across wind to stay above 30 knots.

39 tops of that combo and wind came up.

Not that much speed on 6.3 mistral 47 and 16 delta sym??  went back to FMX 74L and 20 delta sym.  same speed but soooooo much nicer to ride!!  up wind , side wind,  turning, the mile, through chop, crazy better. potential top speed!? maybe not , but the flowing around the lake is sooo much nicer.  just got to work ot the best fin for weed ???

Nice day

Lake George, fastest times were on the 6.2  the 5.8 didn't quite have enough grunt off the wind but felt great cross wind, when the water started going out the 23 speed weed didn't cut it on the run, the board was porpoising, fin must have been bouncing off the weed, switched to the AV speed Board and 17 Atomic delta setup felt great managed a 40+ knot peak but again not enough power when going off the wind, switched back to the isonic 80 and a 20cm speed weed, fin was a lot better but you could still feel the drag, tried a 19cm weed speed had a few runs and was happy to call it a day. Lots of heads around some scary but most passable ;-)
