Had a great time on the water after camping with Daish, Robby and Daffy.

Rob (cracken) drove in late but great to see him in the morning.

Also great to see choco as is been a long time. 😀

Fun sailing the lake without too many people to hit. Found the bottom a few times so getting super shallow in some areas.

Sailed the speed 51 Falcon and lots of fins today.

6.2 severne sail

Great fun day

Thanks Daishy for driving us. Great sailing by all who managed to sail

30 odd knots consistent 🤔 😳

Lake George, SA, AU 20 to 30 to 35 maybe 37/40 gusts  SE. 98 FMX 7.0 to 6.3 GSR on 27 weed speed tribal to 22 tribal delta sym to 21 weed speed.

Well LG at its angry state. water level superlow !! almost getting dangerous now as rocks are coming into play.

** 1 Agenda today the HR record. it was "all or nothing " mind set which is how it has to be if the record is going to be taken.  I had to travel across wind at 32 knots no matter what!   so speed talk set to 2 sec intervals , therefore that's 1800 speed verbals into my ear to stay true to my goal!  if I run out of real estate then so be it. warm up on same set up 98 L FMX  with 27 weed speed 7.0GSR  but wind built to too much so got the 6.3 and went for it. reset garmin and off I went.   got to 29 but was hoping for 30 AV at the start but the water in the middle of the lake starting to get to 1 foot chop!! and  turning at the ends not so smooth and started to hit on rocks near Rods rocks  !!!  eeck. built to 29.5 but started to get thrown after the gybes.  wind now at 30 knots and gybes getting survival ( see video )  , kept losing too much ground until with 30 mins to go, I was level with cockies and uncle kevs .  do the maths quickly in my head and I would have to go 31.5 av now the build it back to 30.2 av !!  I tried but gusts to strong to combat and started going slower then boom blew out of my hands on a gybe then got pulled over the front trying to start. see video .  then just in savage mode.   Hey the record is not easy!!! I'm confidenct that it will go some day but you must be, suberbly fit, gear perfect, wind perfect, course perfect and have opportunity!!   hey it took over a 100 attempts for the national alpha, so I'm expecting nothing less for this one.

Then put the FMX 52/ 74 L on for some speed down low with Sam and ROB but never found over 41.5, went in to change down as it was going 35/40 knots ( 35 knots at robe airport ) , ROB got blown off the water.    Me... sailing back I got lifted in 40 knot gust and thrown clear of my board between the islands on the glass ( hopefully on video ) board and sail flying in air down wind. I was then stuck in weed crawling to catch it as it continued to blow to the bottom island!!  eventually caught it.

speed strip up top was now super smooth again as the water was draining from the lake (  the area that all the summer guys were sailing on deltas  is now DIRT !!  with swans standing .. lol  but wind died to 25 /30 and couldnt pull above 41 plus I was EXHAUSTED.

Drove home with with SAM , hardly hold the steering wheel , well Sam drove most the way Thanks SAM.. Sam had epic day max of 44 !!  unreal , so happy for him.

GREAT work Rob, second time on lake this season and 39.5!!  brillant really. Daffy strong consistent as always

below is really the out of bounds area at LG until more water.  fins are getting destroyed !!  let alone yr body if you stack it
