First sail for the season, great to get out and see some familiar faces.
Tried out the new boom mount GPSs. Wow these are fabulous. Many thanks to Alby and Mike.

Testing the lumpy goodness with Slugga at Novara.
Did one run almost out to the platform, waist high junk out that way and a strange breeze, second run hit a ramp and launched with a wet landing decided that was far enough out.
Two nice manic naughties on the way back.
Good fun, but feeling it after being on the shovel this morning.
Working on the fitness so I can do runs over to Claudesville

Lumpy goodness sesh with Elmo, I mostly had my tail between my legs aiming to survive, managed a few blasts through the swell lines which were awesome fun.
Elmo seemed alot less Muppety in the Lumps and bumps and was making it look easy, nice going Alby.

A great day out with all the other pole huggers, luckily there was some wind. Tide was high but
the weed sill felt a bit draggy.
Had the 48muffin board, ka kon5.8 sail, and 17.5cm/50 weed fin.

Decrepit (55576km):
849 days ago Not much wind early so rigged the 6.2 on the 5.5 with 20cm @ 55d, Turned out to be a good combo for a nice cruisy sail. Towards the end of my session, (had to be off the water by 4) I could have used the 5.7 on the 48. But wasn't worth changing for half an hour.
Great to so so many on the water enjoying the conditions, some on the outside going for the NM, some right on the inside enjoying the smooth.
Even with clean glasses I'm stillving trouble reading the alpha deviation, especially when it's a little choppy.

848 days ago Fangyland with everyone it seemed. I got to do a back to back with FF18bulb vs FF18. According to the numbers the bulb wins hands down, but I suspect that the breeze filled in a bit just as I did the changeover. Certainly the bulb felt the better of the two fins. The conditions were almost Goldilocks, and if I had more time I think a squirt on a smaller board would have been in order.
Apart for a kiter who seemed to have a knack for getting in the way it was a Top Ten Fangy Day.
Barge, Avalon 7.0. FF18bulb
