It was interesting and fun as the fillet on the fin started to fall apart and slide outoff control .
Had the old 48 board, ka kon 5.8, and 16cm and then 18cm weedy.

The only downside was the rock on which I busted my fin. Luckily there was no damage to the board.

A huge crowd, I counted 20 sailors on the water at least four of whom were ladies. A perfect way to see out the year. May 2023 find you all healthy and safe.

691 days ago I took the inevitable gamble, and rigged for the forecast. 48cm board 5.2 speed sail and 17cm@50d starboard assy weedy.
Underdone most of the time, and water too choppy fpr me when the wind did pick up a bit.
So gamble didn't pay off this time, but I'm happy with the alpha, after not being able to get a full planning gybe on Tuesday, I made a couplde today.
Lots on the water, nice to meet Kai. Anita has a story to tell.
Not a bad way to end the year.

Use the nice little CA53, what a great board when lited! Board been sitting on the loungeroom wall for the last 3 years, great to be back on it, was missing 5 knts to really get moving, crawling most of the session. Will have another crack at it tomorrow. My old sails are still working, sort of ahah
Great to catch up with stretchy, took me few sec to adj when saw him at first.
