A fun day at Coondanup. I had to leave early but hope the wind kick in for the others.

Fangyland with the cast of Ben Hur. Lovely little splash before I had to bail. Of course it always seems windier when you have to get out, but I think it might actually be the case. I was a bit underdone today and suffered in the lulls and got bogged in the gybes, but the sun was out, the water was smooth and warm and there were a host of peeps with smiles on dials.

A quick session, Had to leave early once again. It looked like the breeze was starting to build as I drove off.

A fun sail with plenty of crew out.

Point Grey, on water 18 to 24kts, fun sail, then my body said thats enough and the wind booted in and I had to use my remaining energy to sail back to launch while fighting against high 20's gustsand unfortunately a 40kt run went begging today, cant win em all?  Got to shore and measured 19.6 to 29.1kts from the rocks.  Nude Streaker 54/80, TR18 5.9m Pepefoil Hybrid 18/variable

Shortish session on my Pat Malone, spent a bit of time on Point Grey and some in the Corner.

Could've used the little board but didn't want to get caught out, should've done though as the wind kept filling in.

this score was such a surprise to me because i went out today just to check the weed bank and depth on harbour side.

beacon was showing 22kn solid and gusting 28 ssw. started from rushy point and it was very low tide so had to be carefull for any sand banks.

first run i just followed close to the weed try to find flat water but funny enough, ripple and chop every where.

even in 30cm of water. then i went across the weed bank not much better on that side. so weird?

any way i got wet and happy with the score as i wasnt even trying

Was expecting a bit more wind to try get the numbers up , but decided to go for maximum FUN !!!!  Which it was.    

Lots of smoooooth and weed and lots of shallows, oh what fun,,, did I say it was fun.??  

With the old windtech FR 270- 52 wide,  Ka kon5.8 and diy weedy that the fillet had split and started sliding

sideways for miters on end. Had to get another fin which worked very well .     

Well I guess that was a Friday the 13th sail, wind was good when I arrived at Fangys, 18 ave 24 gusts. Rigged the 5.7speed, 48cm board and 19@55 fin.

Wind promptly dropped off, sailed around for 3.5 hours waiting for it to pick up, didn't happen and happy hour was calling, so called it. After I derriged it picked back up again. Typical.

AWESOOOME session, I really enjoyed every mins of it. even I wasnt that fast, it felt great and fast, everything was right on 

I rigged up smaller that everyone 5.4, just wanted to enjoy it,

started with the 104L for a hr got 35

then move to Herby 80L for a hr got 36

then moved to Misty 73L (gosh I missed you) for a hr got 37, I had to reajust myself to the different sailing. the board fill fast even your not 

Every of this 3 sessions was great, I have to learn again how to go fast, I killed most of the run but enjoyed so much the long legs on the smoth, I just wanted to keep sailing but running out of light and energy.
