Lake George, SA, AU Duotone 5.8,CA44, atomic 17 Well along time coming finally some wind all be it for 5 min in a rain it was a massive 40 knot gust and I just sent it new I was smoking wish I could get it again felt like I have heaps more to give saying that I was scared just a bit. Another great day with friends

Up and down S/W with rain showers all day. Some good PBs and speeds by heaps of sailors today.

Falcon 51 speed with 17 Techtonics , JP Slalom 56 with 19 Tectonics. Severne R8 Overdrive 5.7 on both. 

Only managed to get the timing right for one speed run, in a modest gust . Keen for some more when we get wind.

Thanks everyone to have a 49 knot peak is something special and has taken a day to sink in. As a speed sailor you are always looking for flat water with heaps of wind and be on the correct size gear so hard to find perfection but we will keep trying to find it. To have been the fastest ever at lake George is also so humble. I was lucky to be here on Friday to be part of the best I have been involved in so far. Having a blast with friends and meeting new sailors so many PB from people all over the country love the atmosphere here.
